SAG Emergency Exit Door Lock

Lock without locking up

In addition to other panic-door closures in line with DIN EN 1125, SAG provides an emergency exit lock for full-leaf emergency doors in accordance with DIN EN 179 which contains a special automated locking mechanism. This closure is suitable for doors which have to remain permanently closed for security reasons and which are only opened from the outside using the relevant locking medium. The door can be opened from the inside at any time by pressing the handle, even when bolted. The lock types #18355EV and 18357EV are suitable for 1-leaf fire doors.

Functional description for SAG emergency opening function EV:

To unlock on the outside, the key is used to pull across the bolt and the latch is retracted via the transfer lever. The door is open. The door can be opened from the inside at any time by pressing the handle, even when bolted.
